CESAR CHAVEZ THREAD: Is President Biden sending a message to immigrant communities by placing the bust of Cesar Chavez front and center in the Oval Office? When conservatives see his bust we assume he is embracing Chavez's Marxist views, but what do immigrants see?
2/ Immigrants, especially those from Mexico, are well aware of Cesar Chavez's opposition to Mexicans who came to America illegally. Chavez was a fervent opponent of illegal immigration and routinely called Mexicans 'wetbacks'.
