1) Maddison or Barnes
With Leicester in great form, the duo returning 15 and 17 point hauls in the previous GW, and a nice run of fixtures coming up, it is no surprise these two are hot property.
I did some number crunching and analysis, as seen below. https://twitter.com/essentials_fpl/status/1352276437517160448

From this, I’m led to believe that Barnes is the better pick of the two. His underlying statistics are superior, and having watched Leicester a lot this season - his eye test is slightly more promising.
Not to mention he is also 0.3 cheaper, and has a lower ownership too.

2) The ‘like-for-like’ replacements. i.e. the other City midfielders.
@FPL_Banger analysed the underlying numbers as of the last six gameweeks.
As you can see - Gundogan is their standout pick, and with the inclusion of penalties to his portfolio, he is certainly mine too. https://twitter.com/fpl_banger/status/1352306213413818368

Opting for Gundogan also allows room to upgrade elsewhere, with the German costing six million less than his team-mate.
My one worry with Gundogan is that his form is unlikely to continue at the current rate, and instead should begin to decline sooner rather than later. https://twitter.com/essentials_fpl/status/1352205943468154880

3) Son
The pros of this option speak for themselves really, we already know why he’s a good asset.
However, the downside is that the upcoming fixtures aren’t very eye-catching, and he is beginning to decline from his ‘one shot, one goal’ ratio.

4) Jack Grealish
Aston Villa appear to be much better from an attacking point of view this season. They have accumulated an xG of 30.06 from a total of 16 games.
Jack Grealish is the talisman of the Villa side, with an xGi of 11.57 this season, and will continue to tick along.

He is definitely a good choice with all of the double gameweeks that should be coming up for Aston Villa, due to multiple postponements earlier in the season.
However, note that he is one yellow card away from a suspension. Yet - this shouldn’t be too much of an issuing factor.
