WHAT IS HAPPENING IN RUSSIA

My country lives in dictatorship, totalitarianism and poverty for at least 20 years. It is scary to talk or even think about it.
All TV, newspapers are controlled by government, who threatens everyone trying to go against them.

30 million people(20% of country) LIVE BELOW POVERTY LINE, meaning they earn less than 160USD a month.
We never had a choice to vote, our oppositon is SILENCED AND IMPRISONED.
Pluralism is non-existent and no other political views are tolerated. People are scared to speak up.
Our government tried to kill the leader of our opposition, Alexey Navalny, by poisoning. He was in coma and spent months on treatment in Germany.
Several days ago, he came back to Russia and was ILLIEGALLY arrested and put in prison. His lawyers were not allowed to be in.
We DEMAND freedom and justice for Navalny. He’s a prisoner of consciousness and was arrested just because he goes against thieves and corruption.
Our president is ONE OF THE RICHEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.
HIS NET WORTH IS ESTIMATED TO BE AROUND $200 BILLION (which makes him much richer than american billionaires like Bezos or Gates).
All of those money were gained by drowning our country in poverty.
Navalny's investigation revealed Putin's secret palace. Entirely built on OUR stolen money.
It is the most protected place in the country.
THE ESTIMATE COST OF HIS PALACE IS:
1 362 966 032 USD
IT MAKES IT THE MOST EXPENSIVE PRIVATE HOUSE IN THE FUCKING WORLD.
They suck all money and sources from our country. They drowned my country in POVERTY and made it a third world so that Putin and his friends can be one of the riched people on the planet.
I’m just 20, but I lived through 4 crisis and 3 inflations. It shouldn’t be like this.
✨Censorship✨
It is dangerous to question government and support Navalny.
Everyone was threatened to be kicked out of uni/jobs if they're going to be outside on protests. You can get in prison for just TALKING about protests or spreading info.
Even majority of unofficial opposition media&newspapers stopped posting news about Navalny and corruption because they were threatened. Dictatorship and censorship is limiting our sources of information and wants to shut us up :)
On January 23 Russians go out for protests. They demand freedom for Navalny and justice.

I'm scared to think what will happen and I send prayers to my people.
Please be careful.
PLEASE SHARE AND REPOST INFORMATION IF YOU CAN.

Me, as all of my friends, grew up in unimaginable poverty. While my dad was a surgeon and my mom a medical technician, our income was around 80$ when I was a child. I remember my parents did not allow me to buy cereals because we couldn't afford it
And my weight was around 16kg/35 pounds when I started going to school(Imagine what is 16kg for a 7yo kid, I was a skeleton).

-I'm going to slap anyone who wants to tell me that Russia is a rich privilleged country, shut the fuck up-
When I was 13, my mom swore to herself she'd never let me stay in Russia and live there. No matter what it takes, she swore to give me a better life in a better place. I am privilleged to be able to escape and live in Germany and it gives me a privilege to speak up.
My family doesn't allow me to ever talk about politics or critisize corruption because they're scared. Everyone is scared.
Every Russian grows up in being silenced and being told to BE QUIET and fear the government's power. Not to ever question it or only discuss between family.
Thank you so much for reposts!
