4/ Within a short period of time, he became the global rockstar of virology. By mid of March, he already had more than 100k followers, coming from 700 several weeks ago. ( @waybackmachine)
5/ Since the beginning he was adding fuel to the fire. His statements caused fear and panic and are highly contradictory, as can be seen in the example of “masks” (Source #1: https://bit.ly/2M8WQf7 , Source #2: https://bit.ly/2KB7Bq2 , Source #3: https://bit.ly/3iCfNTt )

7/ In a podcast in March, @c_drosten said that we need to expect the “maximum of cases from June until August”. He further raised the question of what needed to be done (to avoid it)? How is it possible that he, as a virologist, does not know about virome seasonality?
8/ Mistakes can happen, even though they shouldn’t as each of his misjudgement has a tremendous societal impact. Today (22/01/21), “top-virologist” (sic!) @c_drosten stated in an interview that he could imagine 100.000 daily new cases in Germany during the spring/summer.

10/ In the same interview he stated that he thinks that #zerocovid is "desirable & principally possible" (sic!). Why does he make statements like that being a “top-virologist” (sic! again)? Since the beginning of 2020, natural laws are seemingly suspended.
11/ It should be the task of the media to investigate inconsistencies and the reason for obvious contradictions. It’s a shame that thousands of (often) unpaid volunteers need to undertake this work on social media platforms, and often being attacked for their courage to speak out
12/ #Corodok did some research regarding Drosten’s possible economic conflicts of interest. If there is a grain of truth, then we are talking about a giant scandal. 14/ Why doesn’t the public media talk about it? Why do (German) journalists keep on hiding critical but objective comments underneath their tweets? Where is the public outcry? Journalism is considered the Fourth Pillar of Democracy. Where did that pillar go?
15/ There is one last comment, I would like to make about scientific integrity.
