Nicola Sturgeon has just quoted unpublished figures when questioned about these figures below by @Mike_Blackley, which she branded "inaccurate"
FM said as of 8.30am, 34% of over 80s vaccinated in Scotland, and gave other breakdowns.
So, will FM now publish daily breakdowns?

So, the figures quoted by @Mike_Blackley were accurate in that they were (it seems) the latest ones in the public domain. FM then selectively put some (prepared) unpublished figures into the public domain. This kind of practice can be frowned upon by the UK statistics regulator
Here's a couple of times the Office for Statistics Regulation has pulled up Scot Gov over issues to do with use of unpublished statistics during the pandemic https://osr.statisticsauthority.gov.uk/correspondence/ed-humpherson-office-for-statistics-regulation-to-scott-heald-public-health-scotland-and-roger-halliday-scottish-government/ https://osr.statisticsauthority.gov.uk/correspondence/ed-humpherson-to-roger-halliday-use-of-covid-19-prevalence-rates-by-scottish-government/
Today, the FM used her platform to brand the latest publicly available figures - quoted accurately by a reporter - as "inaccurate".
Viewers may be left with the impression the reporter was deliberately quoting wrong figures.
This can't be right. https://twitter.com/Mike_Blackley/status/1352604292021170179?s=20

On Monday, when we asked for daily vaccination totals for Saturday/Sunday, Scot Gov refused and told us: "It is important that all figures are properly validated before release in the public domain."
But when the FM needs some handy unpublished stats, she gets them
