Starting about a decade ago, a right wing media ecosphere arose to hunt liberals and leftists to get them fired. The strategy was to find a social media post, usually take it out of context, amplify, flood employer with complaints, and try to push the fake outrage up to Fox News.

As always, using their typical projection (and with the help sadly of some leftists), the political right managed to blame this very strategy entirely on the left, inventing new vocabulary for it ("cancel culture"). I'm now seeing that this media ecosphere is ramping up.

They often choose someone in advance, follow their social media posts, and don't bother waiting even for a plausible tweet that could raise outrage - they just go for it (looking at you suckers, @NiskanenCenter). Bear this is mind.

Perhaps one thing that can unify good people on the right and the left is - let's have zero tolerance for this.
