This is unbelievable. A few weeks ago, I raised my concerns to @Patreon about their awful communication and delivery for creators and they came back promising to do better. This update - which will absolutely destroy the way I run my business - was actually hidden from creators>
who were given an edited version without this in it. Not only is that deliberately cruel, but the change itself to anniversary billing across the board is something we've been pleading for them not to do in their official forums and discord because it would completely undo>
the way many of us have set up our rewards around the 1st of the month. Personally, I give people points every month to trade in for rewards, I do art lessons and feedback sessions and all of that revolves around payments being processed on the 1st. My system is fair to people>
who pledge late because they get the same benefits as someone who pledged early. I've been running with it for 3 years and not had a single complaint, yet anniversary billing will make all of this obsolete. I can't possibly plan around it and it means I will just have to stop>

there's an indication that they know it, it's the underhanded way that they HID this from the bulletin that creators got in their emails so that we had to find out via twitter. Absolutely pathetic ethos, management and customer service.
