There is definitely a lot of confusion because of the lack of evidence presented. I am reading a lot of players saying they are innocent. Hard to believe ESIC would file bans without evidence on record. So if you are one of these 35 players and you did bet I would advise
you detail when you bet and on whom. If you are an Australian player who is passionate about CS and working your way up the ranks and you bet on a NaVi vs Astralis game years ago before you had the level of involvement as now, should you be held to the same ban length as someone
who bet on a match in a league they were competing in? This isn't me stating an opinion, this is me asking a question. Then we go down the slippery slope of are they considered professional players if they aren't salaried?
This obviously isn't a conversation that is going to find much success on a platform like twitter but the more information we have on each of these cases, as well as transparency from the players involved is what will be needed to see the full picture.
