After a lengthy and very enlightening conversation today with both the past and present chairpersons of the #SBC Credentials Committee via Zoom, I am saddened, shocked, and challenged by what I learned that will be especially interesting to #churchtoo participants ....

Without me even needing to ask, I learned that these ppl have not been provided with an OUNCE of training!! Not even from an agency they pay to provide general counseling (not specific to professional sexual abuse) for anyone making a report who requests to be contacted....

Anyone interested in pushing the Executive Committee of the SBC to provide funding and training from someone like @BozT whom I recommended, please message me for further info. This is likely to be my next project.

For some time, I've been trying to reach out to the CC to provide some written helps. They never got passed on as I had requested, just as the committee was being appointed. I hope they will now that I've resent them to the appropriate person, Dr. Mike Lawson, chairperson.....

There is so much follow-up I need to do, knowing that individuals are going to be contacting this committee, asking for help, even though I would not recommend anyone do so after what @juleswoodson11 has gone through due to multiple human errors and oversights....
