Now, first off, I really didn't think I'd have enough material to put another one of these together tonight but here I am. This will be a slight bit different because I won't be focusing whole heartedly on Kenney but I'll make sure

to get to him at the end for a bit.

I'll start by saying I appreciate that @ryanjespersen brought on Jay Hill if for no other reason than to highlight

what a fucking bonehead he is.

First knock - his relationship and his tire pumping of Steven Harper. Try to find someone more hated amongst the politically involved in this country, for those with a memory, than Stephen Harper.

So lets get started.

Jay started in about

"modernizing the constitution" now, I don't know everything but, in order to alter the constitution don't you need buy in from 'x' amount of other provinces? So you're a party that comes complete with a pacifier and you're constantly on the brink of throwing a tantrum and you

think you'll get cooperation from your fellow provinces? (those that don't share in your bitching)

As someone who sees Jespo as grounded, well spoken and articulate when communicating his thoughts I was surprised to see Jay disagree with three valid points Ryan made about the

efforts made by the federal government to help the O and G industry out. If I recall properly, he hadn't even mentioned that the PM helped clean up abandoned wells.

Jay was asked about who would the Maverick party be looking to attract, he said seperatists and people who

still have hope for Canada. So they'd be, Cons without a home? There is a big difference between disgruntled Conservative voters and seperatists Jay. The Conservatives without a home can thank JK who amalgamated all the Conservative representation into a group from hell.

then Jay brought up how Alberta has given all this money to Canada and, for the third or fourth time, reminded us how we're such victims over here. I wonder what's going to happen when we're not able to produce oil for profits like we were during the booms? Oh that's right, we're

going to need support from the rest of the country! Not to mention, due to TERRIBLE governance by not only the UCP but by Conservative governments in general, we've got crumbling infrastructure, a curriculum that needs updating, abandoned wells that need addressing, and no

savings! Sure glad we had such fiscally responsible people in power for 40+ years straight. I have a feeling Alberta is going to be a have not province for a good long while. It'll be a helluva bitter pill to have to swallow when we're receiving instead of giving because you know

, giving is all we do out here

Jay informed the audience that apparently he's familiar with agriculture....this doesn't surprise me, considering his contributions so far I can envision he's been kicked in the head by a wild horse a number of times......

He was asked about if

Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta wanted to seperate and how that would be an issue considering BCs interests. Jay starts in about how there is a significant portion of BC that are Conservative areas. Jay continued to suggest that there would be parts of BC that would

seperate and leave other areas of BC as part of Canada........this would allow the access to tidewater........

I don't think this is even slightly likely. BC doesn't like how Alberta does business (focus all in on resources) and I can't blame them.

As things were finally

winding down Jay mentioned how there will be the need for O and G and it'll have to come from somewhere (no shit). He then tried to make an argument that countries will buy it from places that have ethical practices and not from places like Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Africa.....

I call bullshit. If buying resources is the same as buying groceries, they'll be buying it where they pay the least for it. The reality is, and many don't want to acknowledge this is, our oil is more expensive because of where it's found and how it's processed to make it

useable. That's at least to the best of my knowledge. If not, I'd welcome being corrected. Nobody is paying $5 for a baguette if they can get it for $3. Simple math.

So needless to say, I had never heard Jay Hill speak before but the most enjoyable parts of the interview was

hearing Jespo talk. There is a reason that I haven't and will not give an entitled, cry baby group of individuals any time of day. They have one use and one use only, steal votes from the UCP/CPC. The suggested movement isn't even ambitious. It's shortsighted and will

serve as a target of ridicule. I can't wait to get rid of these checked our relics who can't evolve and grow the fuck up. That's it.

Now, before I go, I want to tee off on Kenney's performance with Vassy Kapelos on Power and politics.

I found it beyond amusing watching Vassy

roll her eyes as Kenney carried on like a big baby. This isn't news to anyone but, Kenney is a moron and it's not the PM's job to save Kenney from looking stupid, period. It wasn't a measured gamble, it was careless and irresponsible.

I don't understand how Kenney doesn't think

the PM won't sit down and talk with President Biden but the notion that he should impose sanctions on the closest ally and one of our most prominent trade partners because he made a terrible bet than any village idiot knew wouldn't pan is simply assinine.
