why sfws need to leave nsfw twt ALONE : a thread from an sfw who is tired of the lies and hypocrisy

(This is serious, please read and share)
I want to start this by saying that I am a 22 year old who has been involved with the bdsm and nsfw communities for a few years, and I have many friends from nsfw st@y twt. This thread will mostly be about st@ys, but will also sometimes apply to nsfw as a broader community.
cw for whole thread // nsfw , sex mentions , trauma mentions , porn mentions , consent discussions , mental health discussions , death threats

PLEASE CENSOR when responding to this thread in any way !!

READ THE ENTIRE THREAD BEFORE COMING FOR ME
1. Protecting minors

Nsfw twt, ESPECIALLY nsfw st@ys are very careful about making sure minors cannot see their content. Why? Because it can be very damaging for minors to come into contact with nsfw/bdsm content, it can get them involved in things that could be dangerous +
if not done safely and properly, and can give them damaging perceptions of relationships and sex overall. You should not be exposing yourself to content like this unless you already have a very strong grounding in safe sex, healthy relationships, and consent. +
That is why 90% of nsfw st@ys explicitly do not allow minors to follow them, and those that do, are vERY specific about minors not interacting sexually.

BY INTERACTING, RATIOING, SHARING SS OF NSFW TWEETS, YOU ARE EXPOSING MINORS TO UNSAFE CONTENT. Idgaf WHAT you think +
about their content, you should NEVER bring that content to where a minor can see it. PERIOD. No exceptions.
2. Censoring

Nsfw st@ys especially are super careful about censoring. They censor EVERYTHING in order to keep their content out of searches and far away from minors. They censor better than any of y’all here on sfw st@y twt. These are just a FEW examples of nsfw things sfw +
st@ys have tweeted without censoring. Don’t even get me started on the time y’all got mnho vibrator in the searches FOR THREE DAYS. Not only are nsfws keeping their content far away from minors, they’re keeping it out of searches too, something you guys ALWAYS screw up +
when you bring nsfw content over here while on a witch hunt. Stop getting involved with the nsfws because it always results in yall fucking up the searches. This leads to point 3
3. Protecting the boys

Nsfw st@ys do not want to potentially make any member of skiz uncomfortable with their content, which is also why they censor, as well as they block all official accounts. We KNOW chn and several of the other members are on twt, so when you +
Bring nsfw content to sfw twt, you are exposing skiz to the content as well. You complain about the content but you’re the reason they might see it...
4. Infantilization

Sfw st@ys LOVE to yell about people infantilizing kp0p idols, and then turn around and do the same damn thing when the conversation of nsfws comes up. All members of skiz are ADULTS. It is okay for adults to be attracted to other adults. When it +
comes to western artists, a man will be 19 and it’s totally okay to thirst over them, but when a kp0p boy is 19, it’s “stop finding him hot he’s a babie” stfu ???
5. Sexualizing

This ties to point 4. They’re adults. You all learned that term and ran with it, and suddenly it’s a crime to be sexually attracted to anyone or anything. There are 150% times where the boys are purposely trying to appear sexy. You CANNOT TELL ME that mnho +
body rolling and smirking is not meant to be sexually appealing. They have sexy concepts... for a reason... to be sexy... and it’s not wrong to be attracted to that. The conversation about oversexualizing things more commonly is related to the discussion of men sexualizing +
everything about a woman, about showing a shoulder or a bra strap or other completely harmless things. But it’s still okay to be sexually attracted to people.
6. Fetishization

There IS a conversation to be had about fetishization of Asi@n people in the kp0p community and fandoms, HOWEVER, the fact that you all scream fetishization over anyone finding an Asi@n man (or woman, but I’m mostly talking about skiz) attractive perpetuates +
this weird narrative that it’s impossible to find someone attractive without it automatically being a fetish??? And that’s wrong? And weird af??? You can find someone attractive without it having anything to do with their race.

There is also a conversation to be had +
about mlm/nblm fetishization, and I am not mlm, so I am in no way trying to speak about a situation that I do not have a right to speak on. I simply want to point out a hypocrisy here in the conversation. A. you guys like to automatically assume that all nsfw creators are +
female-aligned, which is false. There are a lot of non-binary and male-aligned creators in the nsfw st@y community, and your Willy-nilly witch hunts target them as well. B. you can consume pornographic media of a variety of types without it being a fetish. C. Most of the people +
who use this are 9 times out of 10... not male-aligned. You are a female-aligned person speaking on an issue that you are not involved in. D. You cannot JUST yell this about nsfws. Sfws are just as guilty about pushing the line of fetishization, and I dare you to prove to me +
that at least half of you don’t have ship smut in your ao3 histories. Don’t be a hypocrite. This conversation applies to everyone on both sides.

I.E., there is a major conversation to be had about fetishization, but you can’t ONLY villainize nsfws for this problem.
7. They’re adults

I already mentioned this, but this deserves its own point. Skiz are all adults. They know what sex is, I guarantee they’ve all masturbated, there’s a good chance most of them aren’t virgins. They know exactly what they’re doing when they act sexy, +
and they aren’t going to cry at the idea that someone is attracted to them. IF a member expressed discomfort with the idea of people being attracted to them, I guarantee nsfws would stop with that member. Why do I believe this? Remember that group live where jsng wore a muscle +
tee and you could see his chest? Remember how he expressed discomfort about it? Nsfws were very fast to have every nsfw delete their tweets with pictures of him in that shirt and to delete it from their camera rolls. They cared about him being comfortable!!!
8. Hypersexuality

This is something I think a lot of you don’t know exists. Hypersexuality is a common symptom of MANY traumas and a LOT of nsfws have it. They use their accounts as a safe place to express their symptoms without being harmful to themselves or anyone else. +
their trauma is valid, and you have no right to get mad at them for coping in a safe and private space with other people who have similar traumas.
9. “But xyz nsfw account did this problematic thing”

Yall 🤡 you yell and scream at other fandoms about how the actions of one st@y does not speak for all of us, so how tf you gonna say that all nsfws are problematic bc a couple of them have done bad shit??? +
There are problematic accounts on both sides, you can’t clump them to speak for everyone.
10. “Writing porn about real people is wrong”

Phew okay this is a LOADED topic point, it’s gonna take a bit of unpacking here.

When it comes down to it, fanfiction as a whole is a grey area, and I’m telling you this as a fanfiction writer of almost 8 years. But when it comes +
down to it, writing suit vs normal fanfiction is the same thing on a moral standpoint. Why? Because when writing fanfiction, the id0ls are TEMPLATES. They are not the real people, it is fiction. What is the moral difference between writing these characters having sex vs +
Idk, dying in a story? Action, horror, thriller, darkfic, they all put characters through just as morally ambiguous situations, so what’s the difference? You might argue consent is the difference. Well, there’s three things with this. 1, they don’t necessarily +
consent to have themselves written as villains or to go through pain or even die in stories either. 2. Nsfw writers are VERY explicit about writing consent in their stories. 3. Where is the line with this drawn? If you’re referring to the boys consenting to have themselves +
written in stories with sexual content, that should include things as simple as kissing, which is included in most sfw ship fics... like I’m serious this line is so grey it’s impossible to really be able to say what’s okay and what isnt. Point is, if you’re going to +
defend fanfiction, you kinda have to defend all of them since they all use the same basis of using id0ls as templates for characters. The moral ambiguity of different types of fanfiction is too blurred between each other to make a good distinction on what is right or wrong. +
just because it’s sexual doesn’t make it wrong.
11. Theyre pervs

Hhhhhh they’re adults. Who find other adults attractive. Like I said, many of them have suffered traumas, and attacking for that is wrong. They censor and tag everything appropriately. Nothing wrong with being sexually attracted to someone. They’re +
not physically acting on anything, they would never dream of making skiz uncomfortable or saying anything to them, so this argument is just ???? Stupid? You’re name calling. Grow up.
12. Kinks and kink shaming

KINK SHAMING IS FUCKING WRONG. You can’t control what you’re attracted to when it comes to kinks, and there is a strong correlation to kinks and psychological trauma so like... you might be making fun of someone’s trauma. Are there some kinks +
that push boundaries? Yes. But that’s why they tag shit so people who are uncomfortable or don’t like that content don’t have to see it. And they still write it correctly, meaning in a bdsm sense, anything that gets into heavy kinks is always written using +
proper consent, checking for consent during scenes, safewords, and aftercare. They always write warnings about safe sex practices and stuff too. They’re very educational about how to practice these kinks SAFELY. The bdsm and nsfw communities are very big on making sure +
The people who practice these things or read their content are aware of how to do so safely, and that’s a good thing!
13. Like I said, it’s not a crime to be horny. If you don’t understand how people can be horny over something, chances are it’s because you’re either asexual, or you’re hormones aren’t fully developed or as strong because you’re young. I’m not saying this as a “you’re a kid +
so you don’t understand,” but as an actual scientific thing here. Everyone matures through puberty at different rates and therefore might experience sexual urges and attractions earlier or later in life, and it’s not wrong to feel those feelings. Perpetuating the +
idea that having sexual thoughts or urges is wrong A. Villainizes people with hypersexuality, and B. Creates an unsafe mindset for someone who might want to experience the sexually when they’re older. If they think it’s wrong they may be unwilling to reach out an learn +
about how to be safe. We aren’t in the 50s. Sex isn’t scandalous.
14. Nsfw mental health

Just because they’re adults doesn’t make them immune to mental health problems, and y’all are fucking cruel. You say it’s kp0p and it ain’t that deep, then turn around and send death threats to nsfws for sitting in their private, safe, segregated space. +
I’ve said it before and I stand by it now, attacking people you disagree with, bullying them, sending them threats, trying to get them to kill themselves is wrong on all fronts, I don’t gaf WHO it is. Your constant attacks on nsfws has a massive effect on their mental health. +
Mass attacking people’s CCs, ratioing and dming, they go on lockdown a couple times a week just to keep from being sent threats. There are so many of them that have had to leave twt bc their health got so bad they might’ve hurt themselves if they stayed, when that was supposed +
to be their safe place. If you don’t see a problem with that, with purposely trying to hurt them, then you’re a shit person.
15. The obsession

Remember how I said they censor? They block sfws? They block the main accounts? They’re not in the searches... so why do they keep getting brought to the sfw spaces? The answer is that the people who are bringing this kind of content to our space +
are purposely searching through the censored words to find the content. I strongly suspect that this is mostly for clout and to cause drama. There is no way in hell a 14 y/o on sfw twt is finding a tweet from nsfw twt without explicitly looking for it. Period. +
They are trying to keep y’all from seeing their content for a reason, SO STOP FUCKING LOOKING FOR IT TO CAUSE DRAMA YOU ARE EXPOSING MINORS TO DANGEROUS CONTENT AND MESSING UPT HE SEARCHES. STOP BEING OBSESSED. You’re more obsessed than the antis I swear 💀
16. Segregated spaces are segregated for a reason

Is is no different from s/h twt or ED twt, they are isolated to keep themselves from harming other while they SAFELY express themselves. They are not harming anyone, and are often helping each other learn and connect to +
other people similar to them. We do not belong over there, so we should not be getting involved at all. To protect minors, to protect the boys, to keep searches clear, and to protect all parties, we need to stay out of their business like they stay out of ours.
Overall:

Nsfw st@y twt is a community for (mostly) adults to safely express themselves without harming themselves or others. Even if at the end of this thread you still think being sexually attracted to id0ls is wrong, then you at least need to hear me about protecting +
minors and the boys. Stop the witch hunts. Stop being their content to where minors can see it, to where the boys could find it, and to where dumbass st@ys can fuck up the searches. Just stop. Mind your own damn business.

End of thread.
NOTE:

it has been brought to my attention that the point about fetishization might of come across as guilt trippy to some people, and for that I am so sorry. That was not my intention, so I'd like to clarify. I am not saying there isn't an issue with fetishization in +
the nsfw community, my point was to say that sfws like to pretend that its only a problem with nsfws, which is wrong and hypocritical. It is a problem on both sides, so my point was to simply point out the hypocrisy. I'm sorry for the confusion
ANother note:

It seems you all are missing the point about the fanfiction thing. OBJECTIVELY, my point is saying fanfiction overall is morally ambigious and the lines are very fucking blurred sometimes. you can't use that as an argument against +
nsfws because, guess what, sfws are guilty of it too. thats the fucking point.
Last thing:

this thread is directly about st@ys, so idk why you all from anitwt and ggtwt are getting involved. this is about a direct series of issues that have been happening in our fandom, exposing minors to nsfw things. that's what this is about.
Okay last thing last thing since people seem to be getting the wrong idea...

I am an sfw account and writer. I don’t write porn, and I’m not on nsfw st@y twt. My connection to the nsfw community is through different channels. This thread is not to say you’re wrong +
to disagree with the existence of nsfw accounts, it is to say regardless of your stance, you should not be over there, and that most of the points people use to attack them with are hypocritical bc we are just as guilty of the same problems. The most important thing +
is about protecting minors and the id0ls. Stay away from their content so it can’t be exposed to people who shouldn’t see it.
Some of y’all are so dense https://twitter.com/crownlino/status/1352678140779192320
Yes I’m adding to this one more time

So I wanna clarify soemthing about this that I should’ve clarified in the original thread: age play, race play, ddlg, and other things along those lines in most of the nsfw and bdsm community are shunned and not considered kinks. They’re + https://twitter.com/crownlino/status/1352482043607748610
fetishes, and they ARE WRONG. I wasn’t referring to these types of things, rather more hard kink stuff (of witch I won’t specify here bc this is sfw twt lol). Anyway sorry for the confusion I wasn’t tryi mg to excuse those types of things, they just didn’t occur to me +
bc I don’t consider them as kinks.
