Just change the bloody date!
Rip off the band-aid and lets get on with the healing.
It is fundamentally disrespectful arrogant and cruel to expect Aboriginal Australians mark, in any way, the shattering of their 60,000 year culture after first contact...and all that ensued.

I believe that,framed in that way by true leaders, we would agree to #changethedate
For both their kids and mine who yearn for an honest foundation story...it's time for a reckoning.
