I got an email from a supporter of school closures

He said the key to closure was to make sure it doesn't apply to rich kids (private)

And that closure should have nothing to do with any virus factors (cases, hospitalization,etc)

The person elaborated: the key to closures is that they occur only for public schools and must be more likely in democratic than republican districts and have nothing to do with rates of virus transmission...

Of course, all the studies on the importance of school are wrong. Except the rare ones that conclude school closure is fine..

He also said that if some kids whose parents have multiple doctorates are doing ok (not great, but ok) so that means it is impossible for any kids to do worse

He said that schools must spread covid and that any study that said otherwise (like the well done germany study) are misinformation and disinformation!
