You know what, let's watch some 4th quarter Lakers/Bucks
LeBron just seems mad insulted by whatever the Bucks do against him defensively.
Lakers putting Giannis in P&R with LeBron handling which is interesting. No communication form the Bucks here. Giannis is dropped back and ends up switching, Holiday keeps fighting over, Morris open for 3.
Lakers went back to the same set, Giannis drops, Holiday recovers. Morris able to beat Giannis on the closeout. Kuzma tries to screen for LeBron but ends up getting an offensive foul holding the screen.
Bucks go to Giannis/Jrue together in P&R with Jrue as a screener. You see what Holiday adds to this action here. Caruso shows and recovers but that closeout is a little tougher with Holiday behind the arc than Bledsoe. Nice drive and finish by Holiday.
Bucks went small during that stretch and Connaughton was guarding Harrell and AD and I partially wondered why they were doing that but also proud that they were trying *something*
The problem is they switched themselves into a mismatch they didn't have to and then had to help which opened things up. But. Trying something.
AD screens for LeBron here. Bucks end up having Holiday switch as AD rolls on the empty side. Leads to a post up and again communication is off. Lopez is doubling from one pass away, Giannis coming from baseline. Caruso wide open. You don't need both.
Lakers went back to the same AD/LeBron P&R, this time the Bucks switch again to take away the pop/roll. AD posts up this time the Bucks stay home and everything is stagnant. Big time shot from LeBron.
These are good punches for the Bucks to take to try and get to their ultimate goal. Lakers sometimes feel less like a team in cruise control and more like a team that knows which gear to hit when they need to.
