“I'm over 80 & waiting for my vaccine”: A total of 13% of over 80s had received their 1st dose by last weekend. 2meet ⁦ @scotgov⁩’s revised target, another 234k people in that age bracket need 2b vaccinated by 7 February, that’s 70k people a week. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-55750831
We will see - but it will have ramp up massively if this week anything to go by @BBCNews @BBCNewsScotland
This from 11/1/21 - 1,100 vaccination centres then & 80% (70%) of care homes already done. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-55612735 There are about 36k CH residents & about 90% done by yesterday, 3.6k left - it took 10 days to do 3.6k? There are 1,100 vaccination centres.
14 days to go, 33% gap to make up as well. Note that if we had 90% of care home residents done (32,400) as stated yesterday, we have 270k over 80’s yet only 13% are vaccinated (35,100)who got the other 104k?
