(1) no general reading (for a "collective") on any platform can promise you, specifically, a specific event or outcome. this includes financial gains, getting back with your ex, finding your soulmate, etc.
(2) the Universe can and will bless you, often in ways you won't perceive or appreciate, but basically never will you be rained upon with blessings if you haven't done YOUR PART of the work. human school is hard, not trick-or-treating in a wealthy neighborhood.
(3) scam readers (tarot, psychic, astrology, etc.) are a literal threat to the livelihoods & general acceptance of those of us who do our work with ethics, morals, & integrity.
(4) scam readers are literally harmful to the people they scam. building up expectations for impossible outcomes is emotionally manipulative and, quite frankly, abusive. it can also prompt people to make truly unwise decisions that they will absolutely regret later.
(5) there is a difference between meangirl gatekeeping and ensuring integrity within a profession.
(6) rule of thumb: never trust a reader who only ever promises the Moon, who only ever tells people good news, who never provides concrete & realistic action steps for you to take to achieve your goals, who is not genuinely respected by other readers who are also respected.
i might add more thoughts later but WHEW Y'ALL how do we teach the general public how to spot and avoid scammers?????
