Casca's dream sprite states, "there's someone I want to see." Shierke and Farnese seem to assume it's Guts, however, I believe she is referring to her son. I believe that seeing her son is the most key element for Casca's heart to fully heal.
Currently, Casca hasn't fully regained her memories. She has yet to remember the eclipse and doesn't seem to recall giving birth. With each memory recalled, she enters a painful state of PTSD. - -
Seeing her son will undoubtedly be traumatic, as she will recall being r*ped, her deformed infant's birth (and Guts trying to immediately kill their child.) I believe the moonlight boy approached Guts first in this recent chapter as a way to protect his mother from this reaction.
She will see him as foreshadowed by Farnese. He will be the most crucial missing piece for Casca's healing. She will have a renewed purpose and strength. Griffith was once her reason for living, and now it will be her son. Do not forget that she is a strong woman with conviction.
And as for Casca and Guts, I honestly don't know. As much as I truly do long for them to reunite I feel at best we can hope for a bittersweet ending. I believe they will bond over their son, and join forces for his best interest.
