During the first war for Artsakh’s liberation, in the last six years of the war, we lost 7,000 soldiers. In the last war, with @NikolPashinyan as Commander in Chief, we lost 5,000 in just 44 days. 1/
Putting aside who is to blame for the military loss—which I, although believe very strongly rests on Nikol’s shoulders, nonetheless understand is a complicated question—the magnitude of the loss *requires* the resignation of the war-time government. 2/
There are many reasons for this. If those reasons are not apparent to you, that is likely because they have rarely had to be articulated and defended. Most governments who find themselves in such a predicament have the wisdom (or shame) to resign without having to be told. 3/
This is not the case with Armenia’s current government, which is full of parasitic imbeciles. Instead, Nikol Pashinyan, whose face will forever be a reminder of the calamitous loss for Armenians everywhere, has chosen to remain in office. 4/
In doing so, he has chosen to continue staining Armenian statehood, the institutions of that state, and its people with the mark of defeat. To understand how destructive this has been for Armenia, consider what Armenians have been discussing since the end of the war. 5/
Is it the question of how we are going to rebuild Armenia’s army and military capabilities? Is it how we are going to mend fences with the Kremlin and restore the allied relationship? Is it how we are going to work on jumpstarting the country’s economy? Prevent mass exodus? 6/
No. We’ve been discussing the Stain, i.e. Nikol Pashinyan. And to the extent that some of us have been discussing those questions, the first realization we inevitably come to is that Nikol has to leave. 7/
Regardless of where you stand on the նախկինs issue, imagine the day after Nikol resigns. Would William @Bairamian and his gang be able to continue lambasting Nikol and his supporters? No, he would have to move on, it would be old news. 8/
Likewise, those of you that are still dumb enough to support Nikol, would you be expending energy defending Nikol with your bullshit about ‘corruption’ under the նախկիs? No...why would you? There would be no need, it would be a tired issue. 9/
The point is: William would move on, I would move on, you would move on...*We* would be able to move on, as one people. We would still have our disagreements of course, but we would be able to face the future *together* and get on with the important work waiting to get done. 10/
But we can’t do that...because Nikol Pashinyan refuses to leave. We can’t move on. He is, put simply, a curse on the children of Armenia and their future. Անիծում եմ քեզ Նիկոլ: Երանի այն օրը երբ դու գետինը մտնես: /11
