In honor of Walker airing tonight, here's a thread of some films that talk about immigration and police brutality.

"Ya no estoy aquí"
This movie will represent Mexico in the upcoming Oscars. It's avaible on Netflix. Definitely one of my favorite films of 2020.
"La jaula de oro"
I watched this movie for the first time when I was 14. It hit me really hard. You cand find it on prime video. Please look out for the tigger warnings.
"Bajo la misma luna"
I'm not a fan of the main actors nor the work they do but I really like the story. You can find it on Prime, Vudu and Google play movies.
"Immigration Nation"
Netflix original documentary series with 6 episodes. The filmmakers were threatend to delete the footage and to release it only after the election.
"La Bestia"
This documentary is uploaded on YouTube but it doesn't have english subtitles and I think it's on prime but only if you subscribe to FlixLatino, which you should because not all films come from Hollywood and you should support Latin America filmmakers.
