Located in the west wing of the Grand Palais, the Palais de la Découverte opened in 1937 as part of the Paris World Exposition; its goal was to demonstrate science in front of people; in 1938, it became a full-time museum; in 2020, it was supposed to close for renovation
it's my second favorite science museum in Paris, so I thought I'd go there, snap some pics, get a good thread, because it's not just a science museum, it's really a museum of museum science; it's a crash course in museum history; it's beautiful and it's strange and it's cool
