1. These regions turn economy. During strictest lockdown, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution of even non-essential items such as luxury clothing has continued in Brampton. We need #PaidSickDays, employment security, and basic worker protection and rights! 3/5
2. Regions like Brampton are under-resourced. Provincial average for hospital beds is 2.19/1000 residents. Brampton clocks in at 0.96. Brampton was one of hardest-hit regions in Canada but didn't get isolation centre till Jan 2021 - a year into pandemic, a year too late 4/5
