I think Congress should be v reluctant/cautious about sanctioning or expelling voices with unusual/ heretical *opinions*

A mainstream political party that can not set a boundary against even this level of sustained extremism among elected representatives (bigotry, endorsing violence, inventing conspiracies about murdered schoolchildren, endorsing QAnon) is in a very bad state indeed.
