Wow. I had put this one off for years now. Finally I sat down and watched it. Kurosawa is confident in the choices he makes to tell his story. I love the use of every frame to the fullest potential. Often telling stories in the foreground and background with one shot. CNTD
I love the way he fills his frame but also the way he adds movement in the background. Through the use of rain, running water and wind he further creates visual interest. I will definitely be checking out more of his work very soon.
