County received 173,000 vaccines in last 48 hours, Fletcher says.
He reiterates that county sites are currently serving only health care workers, long term care facility residents/employees and those 75+. Some other health providers are offering vaccinations to those 65+ if they have it, but county not ready for that yet.
For seniors that are 75+ but don't have computer access, they can call 211 and they will help.
Did the audio for the county briefing just drop out for anyone else? Or is it just me?

My colleague John Carroll asked if the county will be streamlining the appointment scheduling process, because KPBS has received messages that it's quite complex.

Fletcher also says that the county was initially going to create its own system that would also notify people on eligibility but opted to join the state's and hope to have that out soon.
NBC7's @ArtieNBCSD asking about county's goal to administer 250K doses by end of this month. Fletcher says he expects to go even beyond that. And adds that by Feb. 1, county's goal is to hit 25,000 vaccinations a day, pending supply.
Artie also asks about the need for more volunteers. Fletcher says 600 volunteers to be cleared by this weekend. They'll help expand vaccination operations.
My colleague @MHoffmam asking about future shipments. Fletcher: "We often don't know until we're told, 'Hey, this was just shipped.'" Says there is concern there may be not enough supply to match the infrastructure they're building out, but opposite would be worse.
UT's @JonathanWosen asked about letting those 65+ get vaccinated at county sides. They had previously said sometime next week, but Fletcher said they don't know for sure, just depends on whether there's a slow down in appointments filling up.
