2/ Trump and his deputies weakened or eliminated more than 170 environmental safeguards, and had more than 30 more underway by the time he left office. Biden has already overturned 2 of them, and is targeting another 58.

3/ Air pollution and greenhouse gas emission policies top the list in terms of the total number of completed actions, at 64, with drilling and extraction coming in at a close second, at 61. Another 27 rollbacks affect wildlife, and 23 relate to infrastructure and planning.

4/ For each policy, we provide details about the policy, whether it’s in litigation, and how hard it will be to overturn. Some can be abolished with a stroke of a pen; others will take years. Some, like those nullified under the Congressional Review Act, might never be reversed.
