So, now that Digi has been around for a bit I want to show off some of the things our team has done around him. With Digi we wanted to create something that was a first of its kind in esports. Rather than create a logo we decided to treat Digi like a character.

That's a tough thing to ask while keeping Digi recognizable as our logo. A lot of the challenges that we deal with now come from treating Digi as a character AND our logo at the same time. Keeping it recognizable while staying as neutral and inclusive as possible.

This opened the door for memes, lots of memes. And that presented a new challenge too. The goal is to stretch Digi as far as we possibly can while keeping him recognizable as Digi.

Another impactful part of our rebrand was the focus on metaballs and patterns. One of our first projects going into the rebrand was to develop something scalable while keeping an organic feel. With that came this pattern.

It's fully scalable and tileable, so whether we're making packaging, social media graphics, or even our jersey we have a unique pattern to utilize. Another fun thing about it is the wavy texture....it's inspired by the texture on pokemon cards!

We're nowhere near reaching our full potential yet, but we have a super strong base and the team is constantly finding new ways to make Digi live, and that's the dream.
