...I don’t know what stage this is we’re at in the crisis of structural whiteness where ppl are obsessed with being racially ambiguous in appearance while reserving the right to call other people n—— but it needs to be deaded. Everybody wants to play Black until the cops show up.
Ppl claiming they don’t know difference b/w race, nationality & ethnicity is fake too. Ppl pretend to not understand concepts of race until it’s time to perform blackface. The society is organized around discrimination against dark skin & kinky hair & we all know. Don’t be fake.
We have to stop entertaining any level of gaslighting around anti-Black racism & how it functions most fundamentally as a sight-based discrimination against physical appearance. This is what determined the rules of “race”. The slave trade was built upon it. Modern society is too.
