Um, hey. I know right now so many of the incentives in academia point towards hyperproductivity and feeling like you're a failure if you take more than a couple weeks to write an article from start to finish, but some of us would really not like it to be like that.
So, like, share productivity tips if you want, knowing that it varies by person, field, desired outcome, etc. But also SERIOUSLY we need a world where we value people independent of all that.
Hiring committee folks, you might make sure you still argue the case for people doing interesting work who might have fewer pubs or are at less prestigious schools. P&T folks, maybe acknowledge that different kinds of work takes different amounts of time.
(Community based research takes FOREVER) but also we have internalized so many competitive norms, relatively job-and-life secure folks, try to support junior/marginalized/less prestigiously employed folks by reading and citing their work, encouraging them to apply for things, etc
