Really just underscores the fact that insulin is the CART and not the HORSE. Insulin is simply responding to fuels in the bloodstream, trying to clear the bloodstream of excess fuels, maintaining homeostatic levels opposite of glucagon. Glucagon raises fuels, insulin lowers.
