Living in an environment of multiple faiths, many people are starting to say that they wish to follow all religions. They pick and choose between the teachings of Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, Budha, Ramanuja and Guru Nanak. This is done through the spirit of tolerance and acceptance.

Emotionally, these are some of the most earnest and loving people I know. Intellectually, I disagree with this theory and i hope that you will give me an honest hearing.
Figureheads in most religions back their teachings with a claim that they are coming straight from the Creator.
When we pick and choose between these teachings, we are implying that the religion was not divine in the first place, and its leaders had lied about their connection with God.
It is actually more disrespectful to pick and choose between the teachings of a divine religion, than disagreeing with it all, as it mocks the very premise that that faith is based upon.
Surprisingly, the closest way of legitimately following this philosophy is in the religion of Islam. Believe in the God of Jesus, Moses, Aaron, Abraham, Muhammad, and all the true prophets of the past. There is a Creator, as we did not create ourselves.
The religion of Islam believes that he gave the Pslams to David, Tawrah to Moses, the Bible to Jesus, and the Quran to Muhammad. May Allah elevate all their efforts, and shower them with his grace and blessings.
