So many nurses have been asking me about migration to the UK. Trust me, it's really worth it. I compiled this sometimes back and I just updated it. If you are aspiring to migrate to the UK as a nurse or you know a Nigerian nurse who might need this, kindly share.
STEP BY STEP PROCESS OF BECOMING A UNITED KINGDOM REGISTERED NURSE (UKRN)
▪️Get an international passport
▪️Take a test of English - IELTS or OET
▫️IELTS (75-79k)- Minimum of Listening-7.0, Writing- 6.5, Reading- 7.0, Speaking- 7.0 and Overall - 7.0.
▫️OET (about £333)-
Minimum of Reading- B, Writing- C+, Listening- B, Speaking- B.
▪️Open an account with NMC UK via http://online.nmc-uk.org 
▪️Fill in the required information, upload your international passport, certificate/notification and IELTS/OET result (optional at this point) and pay £140.
You'll get a personalized NMC portal for progress monitoring.
▪️ Pay #17,500 via remitta (bank or online). Send the evidence of payment, photocopies of your notification/certificate, birth certificate, license and a letter of request for verification and good standing (you must
include your CRM number, this CRM number is in the mail gotten after paying £140) to NMCN office Abuja.
▪️Wait to be verified and get an authorization to test email from Pearsonvue. Book the CBT by buying a voucher via http://www.mindhub.co.uk 
After passing, fill the final form by
NMC UK, upload details of a medical regulator, police clearance, notification/certificate and IELTS/OET
▪️Start looking for a UK job via agency or directly- tracjobs/ http://nhs.jobs/indeed.co.uk  for nhs or http://carehome.co.uk  for carehomes
▪️Pay £153 to NMC UK for registration.
▪️Get a job and certificate of sponsorship from your employer (necessary for visa application), book visa (you need tuberculosis test- about 59k & police clearance), book flight- 160-500k. Read the job offer letter well to know what your employer will pay for directly/refund here
In the UK, prepare for OSCE, take the exam and wait for your pin (license) by NMC UK. Prior pin, you'll be on Band 3/4, post pin, you'll be a Band 5 nurse and that sums it!
