This track was originally written by yoongi and namjoon during their trainee days back in 2010. The song is abt chasing ur dreams regardless of what the obstacles maybe.
"No matter who tries to stop me, I will go on my way. You only live once. Leggo! Even if I live for a day. I’ll have no regrets. Let’s jump" this is the lyrics to tae's infamous verse. Self-explanatory i think
If you read the lyrics to jump, its almost like they're hyping themselves up. They talk abt always chasing their dreams and how they'll go their way no matter who tries to stop them, no matter how many obstacles they hv to face
Yoongi talks of how as a kid he used to dream of becoming a superhero and would "jump" wishing to be like a hero but as he grew up, though he wanted to go back to his childhood, he realises that between now and then nothing has changed
Hobi's verse is abt his life back in 2007 when he was a dancer. Looking back at his past self he equates himself to an "empty white paper" but now he's proud of who he is, someone who goes up on stage and gives it his all
On the other hand, in joon's verse he talks of how as a kid he was happy just dreaming of becoming an adult and having fun on his trampoline. As an adult, he takes out his old trampoline frm the corner of the room and jumps on it to once again feel the happiness he felt back then
They call themselves "seven hero-wannabes" and the trampoline is now replaced by a stage.

Overall it has a msg of overcoming all the obstacles in life, fulfilling your dream and living with no regrets. Listening to it, you almost feel like the song is bts trying to motivate themselves, them being their own inspiration and drive...
