I just visited out of curiosity Mr Conspiracy’s website (David Icke). I had a read of his anti-vaccination story.
It is incredibly clever how he uses phrases and statistics to alarm the reader but beneath it, it’s either misrepresentation or just false

The story’s 3rd bullet point says
“As of Dec18, 2020,the adverse event rate in the U.S. was 2.79%. This means your risk of harm from the vaccine is far greater than your risk of dying from COVID-19, which has an overall noninstitutionalized infection fatality rate of just 0.26%”

Can you see what he did there? He’s comparing ‘adverse events’ after receiving vaccines to Death.
Adverse Events can include death (although I have struggled to find any reported from C19 vaccine), but…

…on the whole they can be loosely defined as ‘side effects’ such as a rash, temperature to more serious forms of anaphylaxis.
I anticipate you all read this statement and thought the same. But Mr Icke has large numbers of gullible followers.

Enough perhaps to make society incapable of reaching the necessary number to achieve herd immunity.

I believe we have one ‘shot’ to gain the upper hand over SARS2 in 2021. Society needs almost unanimous buy-in. It might work. It might not. But we need to give it our best efforts. Not be hampered by crackpot conspiracy.
As someone employed in an industry decimated by this epidemic, I will not sit quietly watching a slowly-expanding crowd of idiots ruin it for the rest of us.
