The fact that Sia's Music portrays physical abuse -- potentially lethal physical abuse at that -- as a reasonable response to an autistic child is really disturbing.
This isn't new information, the dangerousness of prone restraint. We knew it was a killer 30+ years ago when I was routinely subjected to it. It is violent, ugly, and potentially lethal.

That's why there are efforts to get schools to stop doing it.
Why would Sia promote child abuse in her movie, especially at a time when she is speaking out against abuse she says she suffered?

I'll leave that as rhetorical; I think we all know why.
