4/6 Given allegations of serious #humanrights violations in the #CARcrisis, the UNSC should also call on @UN_CAR to redouble efforts to investigate and report publicly on these incidents and support efforts to hold perpetrators to account.

5/6 The UNSC should send a strong message to all parties that #MINUSCA’s mandate is to protect civilians from threats posed by all armed actors -- @UN_CAR’s credibility relies on its impartial implementation of its protection of civilians mandate.
