News reports about politicians upset with Pfizer because there is a temporary shortage of vaccines while they ramp up production.
First, we should all be grateful that they were able to develop a vaccine in the first place.
Second, if these politicians had taken more of a ...
...leadership role in the first place, their jurisdiction’s numbers would be way lower.
Third, there’s no vaccine production in this country because of cuts that had been made during the tenure of previous governments. That’s on them.
Fourth, be patient. Stay home, ...
socially distance, avoid unnecessary contact, and keep it up a while longer.
We’ll get through this. Vaccines exist, and the timeframe in which they were developed is astounding.
To me, impatience is coming off as sheer petulance.
Stay the course, wait your turn, be patient, and be grateful for the science and scientists who made it happen in the first place.
