Transgender women ARE women, and they are deserving of protections.

I stand with all my sisters.

I once had the honor of attending “The Vagina Monologues” performed solely by transwomen.

If you’re a cis woman and don’t understand the courage it takes to relinquish male privilege, I’m not sure how you can consider yourself a feminist.

As a cis woman w second-wave feminist in origins, I understand feeling frustration that misogyny and sexism haven’t yet been adequately addressed.

But I don’t understand the reactionary impulse to blame transwomen for that fact.

The same oppressive hierarchies affect ALL of us.
