I would like to see a few things happen when it comes to people talking about body size & weight

-I want to see fat politics/liberation people and fat activists given the floor to talk about our work, which is not new

-I want to see it acknowledged that fat activism is NOT NEW
-I want fat people and ESPECIALLY fat women who are celebrities or otherwise public figures not held to impossible standards to embody all fat women and have perfect fat politics when they are NOT claiming fat politics

While thin women are applauded for doing the least
-I want to stop giving thin women giant platforms and money for showing the barest minimum of basic decency about body size

Especially while fat women are ROASTED for literally every single thing they say
-I want thin people and people who do not wear plus or extended sizes take several enormous steps back and to listen before they speak

-I want you to know that if you think this is a discussion of "health", that you especially need to stop talking
-I want people to know that Health at Every Size (HAES) is not synonymous with fat activism and fat liberation and those ideas cannot be swapped out and used interchangeably

If you think those ideas are the same, you need to stop talking
-I want people to acknowledge that models and entertainers are NOT ACTIVISTS

And that it is a form of erasure and fatphobic violence to keep taking your questions about fatphobia to models and actresses instead of to activists and scholars

WHO EXIST
I want people to admit that if they know that diets don't work but are still pushing them anyway

That the point is to harm fat people and contribute to the continued discrimination against us
I want people to admit that doctors engage in harming fat people and that those doctors
k i l l fat people

And apparently everyone is fine with that
I want people to understand that the BMI scale has no reason to exist

And that the only thing it measures is bigotry
I want thin people to admit that they benefit from fatphobia
