I love Havertz. Not because he has those stats though. When he signed i thought he was a great player and i had watched him a few times but not much.
He got COVID and had really struggled to adapt to the PL, that’s no secret. But i still believe in him.
Firstly, everyone has seen this statistic comparing him to Messi/Ronaldo. I don’t think it’s right to put him in that category yet but be have to give him credit, regardless of league how many players manage that?
Last season he scored 12 goals and got 6 assists. This is just in the bundesliga and undoubtedly better than what he has done for chelsea so far.
However, Havertz is averaging the exact same Assists per game than he did last season and is playing a deeper role than he did at leverkusen.
In the 4 seasons at leverkusen he averaged 84.9% pass completion compared to 85.9% at chelsea. A very small difference admittedly.
