Some unsolicited advice to new content creators... be cognizant of the audience you cultivate actively and tacitly.

I promise you - especially non-white/non-dude folk... you're going to hit bumps (by your own doing or otherwise.) But I see some of y'all repeating mistakes that have been made before. And it sucks. Because I see the fallout - and hoooooo boy, y'all don't see the forest.
Mistakes happen. Regrets happen. We're all human.
But I'm telling you - complacency and quick ease is the root of a lot of issues within our little sphere. A pat on the back now from someone who stabs your peers in the back all the time... it isn't worth it.

Or maybe to you it is. And then - well - go for it. Make your bed, but then you need to lie in it. But don't let someone else make it for you. Keep your eyes and ears open, pay attention, listen to the folks that have come before and who are trying to help you.
