Stupid things pac 12 commish Larry Scott did (a thread):
-moved the league office to “SF to be close to tech”. The league didn’t have an Apple TV app until 2020.
-the SF offices cost 10x more than the next conferences.

He turned down tv deals from Fox and ESPN at a time when the two networks basically built a launch pad to make the SEC and Big 10 the biggest conferences.
He turned it down not realizing the sports rights deal he wanted would never arrive as the other conferences would pass him
