Thread – Observations on the Past and Future

1. The following commentary received from a friend mirrors my own remembrances and thinking exactly. There are more of us than there are of them! Here is what he had to say.
2. Now that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris (JB-KH) have been sworn in as President and Vice President of the United States of America, I wish to unburden myself of some thoughts about what has happened during the last four years ….
2A. … and qualms over what to expect and what to do during the next four years. First, and most importantly, is to reflect on what President Trump and his administration have accomplished during the last four years.
3. Looking back on the election of 2016, I never would have imagined that Donald Trump would emerge victorious as the Republican nominee from among the 16 candidates who were running for the presidency.
4. His unconventional style, his lack of political bona fides, his absence of Party pedigree, and many other factors made me feel that he was more than a dark horse. I thought that he didn't have the ghost of a chance of winning the nomination.
5. The longer he stayed in the race, however, the more his quirky effectiveness grew on me and on many other populist citizens.
6. All the more, I felt that he would not be able to prevail against the Democrat candidate, no matter who that might have been, because they have a much more wealthy, powerful, and well-organized machine.
7. Some of the reasons he defeated the Democrat candidate, despite her entrenched position in American politics, is that she foolishly underestimated the visceral reaction she would cause by referring to the bulk of American voters as "deplorables".
8. In addition, she made many tactical and moral blunders (e.g., "What difference, at this point, does it make?").
9. Another failing of the Democrat campaign against Trump is that the Party was deeply riven by those who took a leftist, socialist leaning position and intensely disliked the Democrat candidate. I knew many lifelong Democrats who couldn't stomach their own Party's candidate.
10. Much to my amazement, and to the amazement of almost everyone, Trump defeated the Democrat candidate. As soon as he assumed the presidency, he hit the ground running and embarked on an amazing sequence of startling initiatives.
11. The following is part of an article that came into my inbox from an unknown source about two weeks ago.
11A. What has Trump done in the past 4 years

The "arrogant" in the White House brokered four Middle East Peace Accords, something that 71 years of political intervention and endless war failed to produce.
11B. The "buffoon" in the White House is the first president that has not engaged us in a foreign war since Eisenhower.
11C. The "racist" in the White House has had the greatest impact on the economy, bringing jobs, and lowering unemployment to the Black and Latino population of ANY other president. Ever.
11D. The "liar" in the White House has exposed the deep, widespread, and long-standing corruption in the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, and the Republican and Democratic parties. In other words, he has done much to drain the swamp.
11E. The "white supremacist" in the White House turned NATO around and had them start paying their dues.

The "fool" in the White House neutralized the North Koreans and stopped them sending missiles toward Japan, and threatening the West Coast of the US.
11F. The "xenophobe" in the White House turned our relationship with the Chinese around, brought hundreds of businesses back to the US, and revived the economy.
11G. This same “clown” lowered your taxes, increased the standard deduction on your IRS return from $12,500 to $24,400 for married couples and caused the stock market to rise to record levels, positively impacting the retirement accounts of tens of millions of citizens.
11H. The “idiot” in the White House fast-tracked the development of multiple COVID Vaccines which are now available or will be soon. And yet we still don't have a vaccine for SARS, Bird Flu, Ebola, or a host of diseases that arose during previous administrations.
11I. The “orange man” in the White House rebuilt our military, which the Obama administration crippled and fired 214 key generals and admirals in his first year of office.
12. All the aforementioned from that article are facts, but above all, he stood up to a bellicose, rapacious, aggressive China in a way far more effective than any president in my life (three quarters of a century plus).
13. He did all this while having to cope with repeated, baseless impeachment charges and other types of harassment, and is still undergoing a phony, partisan impeachment trial the day he leaves office.
14. We were fortunate to have Donald J. Trump as our President for four years. During those four years, he accomplished more positive things for our nation and the world than any President since Ronald Reagan. It was like a miracle.
15. Given the realities of power, wealth, and influence in the United States, it seemed highly improbable that Trump was destined to be POTUS for even one term, yet -- against all odds -- it happened, and our country is much better off because of it.
16. Now, in looking over the bleak landscape, here are some things we must be prepared for in the coming four years:
17. JB-KH are stuffing their administration with soft-on-China types. This will encourage the CCP to be far more aggressive against India, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, and all of its other neighbors, above all Taiwan, which they are eager to invade.
17A. They will entrench themselves further into the Southeast Asian Sea, which they currently claim the whole of, against the ruling of the International Tribunal. And they will continue to steal our science and technology and compete against us economically on an unfair footing.
18. The anomalies & irregularities of the 2020 election will only increase in future elections, now that the Dem Party is in decisive control of so many organs of gov’t & politics. It will require grit & determination to prevent them fm taking over complete control of everything.
19. We are beginning to experience 1984 and PRC-style thought control and censorship. This is the result of the collusion of Big Tech, the MSM, and leftist academia.
19A. The only way to prevent a total loss of freedom of speech is to expose their fallacies, and to establish alternative modes and channels for the dissemination of accurate, unbiased, undistorted, nonpartisan information.
20. The main cause that made 2020 such a disaster for the human race was the pseudo-pandemic brought about by the paranoia fanned by the CCP hyping its Wuflu lockdowns, extreme social distancing, mandatory mask rules, and other destructive measures.
20A. The CCP was able to achieve this level of global control through working with accomplices in the WHO and government agencies in individual nations.
20B. We have already endured nearly a year of such disruptive authoritarian ukases, and our controllers have warned that they may continue into the fall of 2021 or even beyond that into the year 2022.
20C. So many businesses have folded and so much damage has been done to our social, economic, and educational life through the hysteria of the CCPvirus that, if we don't reverse the present course, the damage to our society may be irreversible.
20D. Other adverse effects of the authoritarian manipulation of the Wuflu pandemic include required vaccination of the entire population, ….
20E. … despite the fact that the new generation of vaccines has not undergone adequate testing and thus far have shown themselves to be quite deadly to many people who have received them.
21. President Trump strove valiantly to halt the flood of illegal immigration that threatens the stability of our country, but JB-KH give every appearance of opening wide the flood gates.
22. These are only a sampling of the kinds of dangerous challenges we will be facing in the coming four years.
23. The only way to forestall them and prevent the establishment of a leftist totalitarian government in America is through determined exposure and resistance by all who cherish freedom and liberty. This is not a game.
24. Once our rights are taken away by a tyrannical government such as that of the CCP, it will be next to impossible to regain them. Forewarned is forearmed.
25. Start local: gain control of your own precinct and county, then work your way up with like-minded people. Or else…. ///The end.
