Quick thread of how the waterways of major European cities were drastically reshaped in the 19th century.

Starting with Vienna.
Lyon
Munich.
Brussels.
Quite sad in all these cases that these little waterways were lost. Minor rivers are some of the most beautiful features you can have in a neighbourhood!
