Elections to the Senate will be held on November 8, 2022, and 34 of the 100 seats are up for regular election. Special elections may be held to fill vacancies in the 117th Congress.
Fourteen seats held by Democrats and 20 seats held by Republicans are up for grabs in 2022.

We need to hold the Dem seats and fight like hell to take the Republicans’.
Fortunately, many of the Democrat seats are in Dem-friendly states like California, New York and Illinois. But we can’t count on that. We have to support them.
2022 is the Republicans next chance to take back the Senate, so it’s going. To be an all out war to keep our majority.
In Florida, that asshole Marco Rubio is up for re-election. (So is DeSantis as governor, btw)

For some Godforsaken reason, he’s considered hard to beat.

We need a seriously amazing contender to go up against Rubio.
Burr in North Carolina has already said he’s not running for re-election.

House Rep. Mark Walker has already announced that he will run for Burr’s seat. Former Gov. Pat McCrory and Lara Trump (Ugh) are possible contenders.
Democrat Erica Smith, who came in 2nd in the primary, is said to interested in running for Burr’s spot.

NC state Senator Jeff Jackson and NC AG Josh Stein are possibilities and are rumored to be interested.
Toomey in Pennsylvania is is not running again. Thank God, he’s a waste of space.

But Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, Conor Lamb and Chrissy Houlahan could be gearing up to snatch Toomey’s seat. All are really good candidates.
Toomey is a Republican.
The others I mentioned are Democrats.
Ron Johnson (Wisconsin-R), a Trump loyalist, needs to go.

There is already one good candidate who is challenging him, county executive Tom Nelson (D).
Sen. Mark Kelly (Arizona-D) has to run again because he beat that awful McSally in a special election.

Gov. “Dicey” Ducey (R) may challenge Kelly.
In New Hampshire, Maggie Hassan (D) is defending her seat against a Republican takeover.

Gov. Sununu (R) might try.
Democrats Warnock and Ossoff will both have to defend their seats in Georgia. I haven’t seen any possible Republican challengers yet.
