instead of starting drama over useless stuff let's talk about something that actually matters, christians in the middle east ; a thread

before i start talking about this, i can assure you that christians are not the same in every part of the world. christians in the middle east are nothing like christians in western countries

christians in the middle east have been getting k*lled for hundreds of years now solely for their religion. christian egyptians, assyrians and armenians (who went through a genocide), christian iraqis, christian syrians

churches are always getting bombed on holidays like christmas and easter. now in some places there isn't a christian holiday that goes by without security guards and heavy security checks before entering the church

christians in egypt are getting driven out of their homes/ getting their homes destroyed and women are getting raped

in some middle eastern countries it doesn't go as far as k*lling but christians are still discriminated, like not being accepted into jobs for their religion, being kicked out of houses, being disrespected in schools or by neighbors

it goes far more than that and i can go on forever but right now i want to spread awareness to those who are losing their lives because of it

once again i understand if you live in a western country and christian where you live are disrespectful but what's happening in the middle east isn't "payback", it's been happening for hundreds of years

if you think all religions should be treated equally and respected then don't exclude christianity out of it. not all the christians in the world are living in peace
