A way to avoid fatigue as you move through life working towards justice is to pick One issue and use it as a prism. Ppl I admire to do this well.

@ZachWritesStuff does it w drugs.

@melissagira w sex work.

@prisonculture & @dnbrgr w prisons.

@brian_goldstone w homelessness.
Also,

@SFdirewolf w disability

@DrJonathanRosa w language

@alexmcclelland w HIV criminalization

@aldatweets w climate

@PatBlanchfield w gun violence

@victorerikray w racialized orgs.
Doesn't mean they/we don't care abt other things. But if one can use a prism to focus, it can help minimize feeling that one is spread too thin.
Some more folks who are really good at using one issue as a prism to work towards justice

@JulesBoykoff w sports

@_Ash_Clark w film

@avitale w policing

@reg_inee w accessibility

@ajbauer w right wing news

@aurabogado w migration
I like prism or lens bc it is this way you can see the world. The Viral Underclass is that for me right now. I see all the isms and structures through viruses, and this lets me write about many things. There’s not a “lane” to stay in, just a manageable way to look at the world https://twitter.com/littleayun/status/1352279444594032649
