Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the worst RB in the Premier League. A thread:

The fullback role has evolved massively. In the modern day, fullbacks are expected to be much more competent going forward than they are defensively. You look at any big club/top team in the world, one thing is constant: Attack-minded fullbacks. Not at Manchester United.
Manchester United spent £50m on a right back from Crystal Palace who had a grand total of zero goal contributions prior to his signing. A right back at a bottom half club who was only rated for being decent defensively. But he could get away with it at Palace, not United.
As soon as he signed for United, the spotlight was on him. He was no longer at an irrelevant club where no one paid close attention to him. While he was praised for his defensive side of the game in his first season, his attacking limitations became more and more apparent.
However, it wasn't long until people started noticing a flaw in his defensive aspect as well. It especially cost us in our final game of last season where we bowed out of the Europa League against Sevilla, partly thanks to his woeful defending for their winner.
Many fans pointed out throughout the summer that we'd do well to buy a new RB to at least give him competition and the suggestion of Dalot getting more game time was laughed at. We were told that AWB is "flawless" defensively even though it was evident that wasn't the case.
Fast-forward to next season, this was him in just our second game of the season, against Brighton, in the 95th minute where he left Solly March completely unmarked and allowed him to score the equaliser. His woeful positioning would become synonymous with him since.
The following week, his weakness was ruthlessly exploited by Son and Reguilon from the left in a 6-1 loss at home, with Son scoring twice.
That was just the tip of the iceberg. His costliest errors, came against Leipzig in the Champions League, when we just needed a point to qualify to the next round. AWB responds by putting on a hall of shame fullback performance and makes Angelino look like Ronaldo.
AWB was roasted all game and Angelino could even be heard literally shouting for the ball because of how much space he was getting due to AWB remarkable lack of positional sense. We lost the game 3-2 and dropped down to the Europa League.
Bear in mind, we're still talking about a fullback who is "solid" defensively. One of the biggest myths going in football. There is a lot more to football than slide tackling the ball out for a throw-in. The only constant with him is his dreadful positional sense...
... and of course being utterly hopeless going forward. You don't need to go back far to be presented an evidence of this. It's been the case since day one and was on display less than 24 hours ago against Fulham. By the way, the "defensive RB" was also at fault for their goal.
I've talked for so long and I haven't even talked about how bad his dribbling is. Or his ball control. Or his first-touch. It's like we cloned Lukaku and put him at RB. Just to cite an example of how bad he is at just about everything, this is him trying to control a football.
