When I was in Australia in mid-2020, a number of people asked me if the Chinese were concealing a coronavirus outbreak. While I think the numbers around the initial outbreak in Wuhan are completely wrong, I was confident that it was under control by mid-March. Why? Because this:

These new outbreaks are going to ruin people's spring festival plans to see family, as it's getting harder to travel, and to travel safely. It's shutting down schools again, hurting kids' education. And it hurts the economy when people don't travel and spend.
Let's just hope that this is the last.
