What is Karma Yoga? #Thread
Karma is a Sanskrit word that means action.
Hindu Scriptures,recognizing that each of us have different personalities and preferences, so offers us 4 Paths of Yoga,set of Spritual Practice to help us to attain enlightenment.
Bhakti Yoga -the Yoga of Devotion
Karma Yoga-The yoga of Action
Jnana Yoga- The yoga of Knowledge
Raja Yoga- The yoga of Mediation

Each action has a consequence, or each cause has an effect,we call this Karma.
Both the action & results of the action constitute Karma.
The impression & action of our Past lives impacts & influence this life & other lives in the future. This is the Karmic Cycle.
Karma yoga is the Path to Moksha through selfless service.
Karma Yoga is selflessly serving without being attached to the results. It is the attitude of making an offering accompanying the Dharmic action that matters.
Karma Yoga involves humbling your ego, serving your community& being Part of something bigger than yourself.
Nishkama Karma means to do everything without expecting anything in return.

Bhagwan Shri Krishna cogently explains the Concept of Karma Yoga to Arjuna
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भुर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.
