Fulbright Scholarships (Masters level):

A thread.

Once Fulbright Scholarships are announced, many applicants have to scramble for various documents on a short notice.

As a former scholar, my advice is to keep following things ready to avoid last minute hassles.
1. Many Universities/colleges in India take a lot of time with Academic Transcripts. So, get your Academic Transcripts for Class 12 and Bachelors Degree prepared NOW.

2. Start preparing for GRE/TOEFL. There may not be an exemption. Plenty of online resources are available.
3. Applicants who are currently employed must get Employers Endorsement Form signed. Its available on USIEF website.

4. If you have work experience/merit certificates, keep them handy.

5. You may be asked to submit a writing sample.
It is good if you can get an article/op-ed etc published during this time, if you have not done it already. You can submit an unpublished piece of writing also. On your subject of interest.

6. If your passport needs renewal, get it done.
7. Start working on your Personal Statement. That way you get plenty of time to perfect it.

I will be glad to help serious applicants with GRE/TOEFL and writing a personal statement. DM or email [email protected].
